Born and raised in Palm Beach County, Eileen Feliciano is a cultural heritage professional, educator, and urban design consultant. She has a passion for preserving and interpreting the diverse histories and heritage of South Florida and is currently pursuing a Master of Cultural Heritage Management at Johns Hopkins University. Eileen holds a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning and bachelor’s degree in Urban Design, with a minor in Linguistics, from Florida Atlantic University.
Her experience spans museums, archives, urban planning and design, education, and community engagement. As a Museum Educator at the Museum of Miami, Eileen develops engaging educational experiences that connect visitors of all ages to Miami’s rich cultural heritage through tours, object-based learning, and interactive programming. Before transitioning into the cultural heritage field, Eileen worked as a full-time Urban Designer and Planner, producing GIS maps, conceptual 3D graphics, site designs, and planning documents for the City of Ocoee and various municipalities in Palm Beach County.
Dedicated to safeguarding underrepresented histories and traditions, Eileen is particularly interested in archival research, oral history, and folklife (especially folklore), of Indigenous and Hispanic communities. She is committed to making cultural heritage accessible through documentation, education, thoughtful interpretation, and collaborative community partnerships.
