Susy Garcia-Burrowes, of Cuban descent, was born and raised in Orlando, FL. She attended College at the University of Central Florida receiving a Bachelor of Science in Finance degree. In 2000, she opened her own Insurance Agency in Apopka and Longwood, FL. Then in 2008, she relocated to West Palm Beach where she currently owns her Insurance Agency with her husband Peter. They own and operate Burrowes Insurance Group in Royal Palm Beach. Their Insurance Agency helps families by providing, Auto, Home, Trucking and Business Insurance.
Susy has been very active in her community and believes she has a responsibility to give back. Current and Past Positions held include: Latin Quarter of WPB Board of Director 2022. Grandma’s Place Annual Gala Committee 2018-2021, Hispanic Chamber of Palm Beach County (Board Member) 2011-2019, Hispanic Chamber of Palm Beach County Chair 2014, Hispanic Chamber Small Business Enterprise Award 2013, Hispanic Chamber Triunfo Awards Gala Chair, Apopka Chamber of Commerce (Board Member), Apopka Chamber President 2003-2004 Apopka Businesswomen of the Year, Rotary Club of Apopka (Board Member), Rotary Club of Apopka President 2004-2005.
Susy resides in Lake Clarke Shores with her husband Peter Burrowes and has 2 wonderful children and their 4-legged family member, Reggae.
